Text

(1)The commission may:
(1)(a) request that members of the public report instances of professional misconduct by a prosecuting attorney to the commission;
(1)(b) receive, initiate, investigate, or hear complaints as described in Section 63M-7-1104;
(1)(c) report professional misconduct as described in Section 63M-7-1105; and
(1)(d) gather and publish data on claims of professional misconduct by prosecuting attorneys in this state.
(2)To enforce the provisions of this part, the commission may:
(2)(a) administer an oath or affirmation;
(2)(b) issue a subpoena, in accordance with the Utah Rules of Civil Procedure, that requires:
(2)(b)(i) the attendance and testimony of a witness; or
(2)(b)(ii) the production of evidence relevant to the investigation; and
(2)(c) take evidence.
