Text

(1)(1)(a) The board may order disciplinary action, with the concurrence of the division, against:
(1)(a)(i) an entity registered under this chapter;
(1)(a)(ii) an entity required to be registered under this chapter; or
(1)(a)(iii) a controlling person of an entity described in this Subsection (1)(a).
(1)(b) The board may order disciplinary action, with the concurrence of the division, against an entity, or controlling person of an entity, who is not registered under this chapter, if the entity violated a provision of this chapter or rule made under this chapter:
(1)(b)(i) within four years before the day on which the division commences disciplinary action; and
(1)(b)(ii) during a period in which:
(1)(b)(ii)(A) the provision or rule was in effect; and
(1)(b)(ii)(B) the entity was register
