Text

(1)The division may, either publicly or privately, investigate or cause to be investigated the actions of any of the following when engaged in the business of residential mortgage loans:
(1)(a) (1)(a)(i) a licensee;
(1)(a)(ii) a person required to be licensed under this chapter; or
(1)(a)(iii) the following with respect to an entity that is a licensee or an entity required to be licensed under this chapter:
(1)(a)(iii)(A) a manager;
(1)(a)(iii)(B) a managing partner;
(1)(a)(iii)(C) a director;
(1)(a)(iii)(D) an executive officer; or
(1)(a)(iii)(E) an individual who performs a function similar to an individual listed in this Subsection (1)(a)(iii);
(1)(b) (1)(b)(i) an applicant for licensure or renewal of licensure under this chapter; or
(1)(b)(ii) the following with respect to an entity t
