Text

(1)As used in this section:
(1)(a) "Prescreened trigger lead information" means information derived from a consumer report that is given to a third party that is not affiliated with the consumer.
(1)(b) (1)(b)(i) "Solicitation" means contacting a consumer to market mortgage loan services.
(1)(b)(ii) "Solicitation" includes:
(1)(b)(ii)(A) accepting or offering to accept a mortgage loan application;
(1)(b)(ii)(B) helping or offering to help process a mortgage loan application;
(1)(b)(ii)(C) soliciting or offering to solicit a mortgage loan for a third party; or
(1)(b)(ii)(D) negotiating or offering to negotiate the terms of a mortgage loan with a lender for a third party.
(2)A person, when transacting the business of residential mortgage loans in this state, may not:
