§ 61-2c-209 — Sponsorship -- Affiliation.

Utah·Title 61 Securities Division - Real Estate Division·Ch. 61-2c Utah Residential Mortgage Practices and Licensing Act·Part 61-2c-2 Licensure
(1)(1)(a) The division may not license an individual, and an individual licensed under this chapter may not conduct the business of residential mortgage loans unless:
(1)(a)(i) if licensed as a mortgage loan originator, the individual:
(1)(a)(i)(A) is sponsored by an entity licensed under this chapter; and
(1)(a)(i)(B) is affiliated with the sponsoring entity's principal lending manager; or
(1)(a)(ii) if licensed as a lending manager, the individual is sponsored by an entity licensed under this chapter.
(1)(b) The division may not license an entity and an entity licensed under this chapter may not conduct the business of residential mortgage loans unless the entity:
(1)(b)(i) conducts the entity's business of residential mortgage loans from a location within the United States;
(1)(b)(ii)
