Text

(1)The interstate compact member states hereby create and establish a joint public agency known as the Interstate Teacher Mobility Compact Commission:
(1)(a) the commission is a joint interstate governmental agency comprised of states that have enacted the Interstate Teacher Mobility Compact; and
(1)(b) nothing in this interstate compact shall be construed to be a waiver of sovereign immunity.
(2)(2)(a) Each member state shall have and be limited to one delegate to the commission, who shall be given the title of commissioner.
(2)(b) The commissioner shall be the primary administrative officer of the state licensing authority or their designee.
(2)(c) Any commissioner may be removed or suspended from office as provided by the law of the state from which the commissioner is appointed.
