Text

(1)The director has broad authority to manage the office to fulfill its purposes, consistent with the enabling act, the Utah Constitution, state law, and board policies.
(2)The director shall:
(2)(a) before assuming the duties of director, take an oath that includes the following: "I solemnly swear to carry out my duties as director of the School and Institutional Trust Fund Office with undivided loyalty to the beneficiaries of the trust fund managed by the office, to the best of my abilities and consistent with the law.";
(2)(b) carry out the policies of the board;
(2)(c) act with undivided loyalty to those entitled to the benefit of income from the trust fund, consistent with the director's fiduciary duties and responsibilities;
