§ 10-2a-107 — Effect of incorporation of community council area.
(1)As used in this section:
(1)(a) "Service area" means the area for which a service provider provided municipal services to an unincorporated island immediately before the incorporation of a community council municipality that includes the previously unincorporated island.
(1)(b) "Service provider" means a special district or other provider of municipal services that, before the incorporation of a community council municipality, provided service to the service area.
(1)(c) "Unincorporated island" means the same as that term is defined in Section 10-2-814.
(2)An incorporation of a community council municipality does not affect the boundary of any service provider, subject to any future change in the boundary as provided by applicable law.
