Sec. 57.001. DEFINITIONS. In this chapter:

(1)"District" means levee improvement district.

(2)"Board" means the board of directors of a levee improvement district.

(3)Repealed by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., R.S., Ch. 986 (S.B. 766 ), Sec. 106, eff. September 1, 2025.

(4)"Commissioners court" means the commissioners court of the county in which the district is located or the commissioners court of the county of jurisdiction.

(5)"Executive director" means the executive director of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
