Sec. 41.001. RATIFICATION. The Rio Grande Compact, the text of which is set out in Section 41.009 of this code, was ratified by the legislature of this state in Chapter 3, page 531, Special Laws, Acts of the 46th Legislature, 1939, after having been signed at Santa Fe, New Mexico, on March 18, 1938, by M.C. Hinderlider, commissioner for the State of Colorado, Thos.

M.McClure, commissioner for the State of New Mexico, and Frank B. Clayton, commissioner for the State of Texas, and approved by S.O. Harper, commissioner representing the United States.
