Sec. 9015.151. ACQUISITION AND USE OF WATER FROM CORPUS CHRISTI.

(a)The authority may acquire from Corpus Christi untreated water supplied from Lake Corpus Christi, subject to a contract between the authority and Corpus Christi that is approved by the Nueces district or under a contract assigned to the authority.

(b)The authority may procure water under Subsection (a) only if the water is "surplus" to the requirements of Corpus Christi as defined in a contract between Corpus Christi and the Nueces district.

(c)The authority may use water procured under Subsection (a) as a source of water supply for the city if the right of the city to execute a contract prescribing the obligations of the city and the authority is approved by the voters of the city in compliance with Section 402.020, Loc

Sec. 9015.151. ACQUISITION AND USE OF WATER FROM CORPUS CHRISTI. (d) The authority may contract with Corpus Christi or the Nueces district, or both, in reference to the authority's duty or option to participate in the cost of any future enlargement of Lake Corpus Christi and for a commensurate share of the increased water yield.
