Sec. 8801.057. GENERAL MANAGER.

(a)The board shall employ a general manager, who serves as the chief administrative officer of the district. The board may delegate to the general manager full authority to manage district affairs or operate the district subject only to orders by the board.
(b)The duties of the general manager include:
(1)administering board orders;
(2)coordinating with state, federal, and local agencies;
(3)overseeing development of district plans and programs; and
(4)performing other duties assigned by the board.
(c)The board shall determine the compensation and terms of office and employment for the general manager.
(d)The board by majority vote may discharge the general manager.
