Sec. 8246.251. PETITION FOR BOND ELECTION.

(a)A petition requesting an election on the proposition of the issuance of bonds for any purpose authorized in this chapter may be presented to the board.
(b)The petition must be signed by at least 50 registered, property tax paying voters residing in the district.
(c)The petition must state:
(1)the amount of bonds to be voted on;
(2)the general nature of the work to be done;
(3)the necessity for and feasibility of the work;
(4)the estimated cost; and
(5)the operating costs.
