Sec. 8246.101. MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT POWERS; GENERAL POWERS.
(a)The district has and may exercise the powers, functions, duties, and privileges provided by general law applicable to a municipal utility district, including those conferred by Chapters 49 and 54 , Water Code.
(b)The district may exercise the rights, privileges, and functions provided by this chapter.
