Sec. 3846.202. ADMINISTRATION OF DISTRICT PROPERTY FOLLOWING DISSOLUTION.

(a)After the date the board orders the dissolution of the district, the board shall transfer ownership of all property and assets of the district to Montgomery County, except as provided by Subsection (b).
(b)If, on the date on which the board orders the dissolution of the district, more than 50 percent of the territory in the district is in the corporate limits of a municipality, the board shall transfer ownership of the district's property and assets to the municipality.
