Sec. 3846.053. QUALIFICATIONS OF DIRECTOR.

(a)To be qualified to serve as a director, a person must be at least 18 years old and:
(1)a district resident;
(2)an owner of real property in the district;
(3)an owner of stock, whether beneficial or otherwise, of a corporate owner of real property in the district;
(4)an owner of a beneficial interest in a trust that owns real property in the district; or
(5)an agent, employee, or tenant of a person described by Subdivision (2), (3), or (4).
(b)For purposes of this section, a person or entity that owns an interest in a general or limited partnership owning real property in the district or that has a lease of real property in the district with a remaining term of 10 years or more, excluding options, is considered to be an owner of real prop
