Sec. 1046.122. RECOMMENDATION OF LEGISLATION; NOTICE.

(a)The board may not recommend to the legislature legislation to amend this chapter unless the recommendation is approved by a concurrence of seven directors.
(b)The board shall give notice of the date, hour, place, and subject of a meeting at which the recommendation of legislation will be discussed in accordance with the open meetings law, Chapter 551 , Government Code, except that the board shall furnish to the county clerk the notice required by Section 551.054 , Government Code, at least 30 days before the date of the meeting.
(c)The notice must be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the district once a week for four weeks. The first publication must occur at least 30 days before the date of the meeting. SUBCHAPTE
