Sec. 1044.054. QUALIFICATIONS FOR CANDIDACY.
(a)A person may not be a candidate for director from the district at large unless the person is a qualified voter of the district.
(b)A person may not be a candidate for director for a county commissioners precinct unless the person is a qualified voter of that precinct.
