Sec. 1005.055. QUALIFICATIONS FOR OFFICE.
(a)To be a candidate for or to serve as a director, a person must be:
(1)a resident of the district; and
(2)a qualified voter.
(b)An employee of the district or an employee's spouse, child, parent, or parent-in-law may not serve as director.
