Sec. 68.056. LIS PENDENS; INTERESTS OF PERSONS ACQUIRING INTEREST IN PROPERTY.

(a)In conjunction with a civil action brought under Chapter 140B , Civil Practice and Remedies Code, an investigative agency may file without prior court order in any county a notice of lis pendens under Section 12.007 . In such case, a person acquiring an interest in the subject real property or beneficial interest, if the real property or beneficial interest is acquired subsequent to the filing of the notice of lis pendens, shall take the interest subject to the civil action and any subsequent judgment of forfeiture.
