Sec. 504.1521. SUPERVISED WORK EXPERIENCE.

(a)A counselor intern shall obtain the supervised work experience required under Section 504.152 that is obtained in this state at a clinical training institution or under the supervision of a certified clinical supervisor.
(b)The executive commissioner shall adopt rules necessary to:
(1)register clinical training institutions that meet the criteria established by the executive commissioner to protect the safety and welfare of the people of this state; and
(2)certify clinical supervisors who hold certification credentials approved by the department or by a person designated by the department, such as the International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium or another person that meets the criteria established by the executive commissioner to
