Sec. 402.101. GENERAL POWERS AND DUTIES.
(a)The executive director shall administer and enforce this chapter.
(b)The department shall:
(1)evaluate the qualifications of applicants;
(2)examine applicants; and
(3)in connection with a hearing under this chapter, issue subpoenas, examine witnesses, and administer oaths under the laws of this state.
