Sec. 62.161. ORDER CALLING ELECTION TO DISSOLVE; NOTICE OF ELECTION.

(a)The commissioners court may order an election to dissolve a board.
(b)The commissioners court shall give notice of the election. The notice must include:
(1)the name of the board;
(2)the proposal that the board be dissolved; and
(3)the place, date, and time of the election.
(c)The notice shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the county once a week for two consecutive weeks. The first publication must occur not later than the 21st day before the date on which the election will be held.
