Sec. 387.005. GOVERNING BODY.

(a)The commissioners court of the county in which the district is created by order shall provide that:
(1)the commissioners court is the governing body of the district; or
(2)the commissioners court shall appoint a governing body of the district.
(b)A member of the governing body of the district is not entitled to compensation for service but is entitled to reimbursement for actual and necessary expenses. Text of subsection as added by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 1341 (S.B. 1233 ), Sec. 22, eff. June 17, 2011
