Sec. 336.053. ELIGIBILITY FOR APPOINTMENT. A person is eligible for appointment to the board if the person:

(1)resides in the district;
(2)is registered to vote in a county in which the district is located; and
(3)has recognized expertise in:
(A)library services;
(B)education;
(C)information technology;
(D)local or Texas history; or
(E)business management.
