Sec. 320.043. DEPOSITORIES AND DISBURSEMENTS; AUDITS.

(a)The commissioners court shall select one or more depositories for funds belonging to or under the control of the board other than bond proceeds or revenues and funds pledged to the payment of revenue bonds. The commissioners court shall select the depositories on the basis of competitive bids substantially in the manner provided by law for county funds. The deposits must be secured substantially in the manner and amount prescribed by law for county funds.
(b)The county auditor shall maintain a current audit of the board's funds and shall prepare monthly and annual audit reports. The reports shall be filed with the commissioners court and with the board and must be available for public inspection at all reasonable times during offic
