Sec. 134.156. LOCAL YOUTH DIVERSION FUND.

(a)In a county or municipality that employs or contracts with a juvenile case manager under Article 45A.451 , Code of Criminal Procedure, money allocated under Section 134.103 to the local youth diversion fund maintained in the county or municipal treasury as required by Section 134.151 may be used by a county or municipality to finance the salary, benefits, training, travel expenses, office supplies, and other necessary expenses relating to the position of a juvenile case manager. If there is money in the fund after those costs are paid, subject to the direction of the governing body of the county or municipality and on approval by the employing court, a juvenile case manager may direct the remaining money to be used to implement programs directl
