Sec. 885.702. SOLICITING MEMBERSHIP IN UNAUTHORIZED FRATERNAL BENEFIT SOCIETY; CRIMINAL PENALTY.

(a)A person commits an offense if the person solicits membership for or in any manner assists in procuring membership in a fraternal benefit society that is not authorized to transact business in this state.
(b)An offense under this section is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not less than $50 or more than $200.
