Sec. 493.051. REINSURANCE AUTHORIZED.
(a)An insurer authorized to engage in the business of insurance in this state may reinsure, in any solvent assuming insurer, any risk or part of a risk that both insurers are authorized by law to assume.
(b)An insurer authorized to engage in business in this state may provide reinsurance under this chapter on any line of insurance in which the insurer is authorized to engage in this state.
