Sec. 2207.402. SCOPE OF COVERAGE.

(a)A pool shall insure a county, school district, or junior college district and the entity's officers and employees against liability for acts and omissions under the laws governing that county, school district, or junior college district and the entity's officers and employees in their official or employment capacities.
(b)Except as provided by Subsection (c), under the excess liability insurance coverage, a pool shall pay any portion of a claim against a county, school district, or junior college district, as applicable, and the entity's officers and employees that:
(1)exceeds $500,000; and
(2)is finally determined or settled or is included in a final judgment of a court.
(c)The amount paid by a pool under this section may not exceed the amount the
