Sec. 1501.256. COORDINATION WITH FEDERAL LAW.
(a)To the extent required to comply with federal law applicable to a small employer health benefit plan described by this subchapter, the commissioner by rule may:
(1)modify the plan; or
(2)adopt a substitute for the plan.
(b)The commissioner shall use the Texas Health Benefits Purchasing Cooperative in implementing this section.
