Sec. 1255.004. APPLICATION OF OTHER LAW; CONFLICTS.

(a)The provisions of Subchapter B , Chapter 1251 , governing eligibility for group accident and health insurance apply to govern the eligibility of a group for purposes of this chapter to the extent those provisions do not conflict with this chapter. This chapter prevails over Subchapter B , Chapter 1251 , if there is a conflict.
(b)Notwithstanding any other law, the law of the state in which the group or master policy providing family leave insurance is delivered or issued for delivery governs disputes between the insurer, group policyholder, and certificate holder.
