Sec. 554.001. ADMISSION OF CERTAIN JUVENILES.

(a)The department shall designate state facilities for use as residential treatment facilities for emotionally disturbed juveniles who:
(1)have been admitted under Subtitle C to a facility of the department; or
(2)are under the managing conservatorship of the Department of Family and Protective Services and have been admitted under Subtitle C to a state facility designated by the department under this section.
(b)An emotionally disturbed juvenile who has been found to have engaged in delinquent conduct or conduct indicating a need for supervision under Title 3, Family Code, may not be admitted to the Waco Center for Youth.
