Sec. 533A.011. RETURN OF PERSON WITH AN INTELLECTUAL DISABILITY TO STATE OF RESIDENCE.

(a)In this section, "department facility" includes the ICF-IID component of the Rio Grande State Center. (a-1) The department may return a nonresident person with an intellectual disability who is committed to a department facility in this state to the proper agency of the person's state of residence.
(b)The department may permit the return of a resident of this state who is committed to a facility for persons with an intellectual disability in another state.
(c)The department may enter into reciprocal agreements with the proper agencies of other states to facilitate the return of persons committed to department facilities in this state, or facilities for persons with an intellectual disability in ano
