Sec. 363.116. AUTHORITY TO ENTER CONTRACTS CONCERNING SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT SERVICES.

(a)A public agency may enter into contracts to enable it to furnish or receive solid waste management services on the terms considered appropriate by the public agency's governing body.
(b)A home-rule municipality's charter provision restricting the duration of a municipal contract does not apply to a municipal contract that relates to solid waste management services.
