Sec. 81.017. MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING.

(a)The department and each of the following agencies shall adopt a memorandum of understanding to coordinate the delivery of services to persons who are deaf or hard of hearing and to reduce duplication of services:
(1)the Department of Aging and Disability Services;
(2)the Department of State Health Services;
(3)the Texas Workforce Commission;
(4)the Health and Human Services Commission;
(5)the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board;
(6)the Texas Education Agency;
(7)the Texas School for the Deaf;
(8)the Texas Department of Criminal Justice; and
(9)any other state agency that provides or is required by law to provide services to persons who are deaf or hard of hearing.
