Sec. 241.002. NO FORFEITURE OF CERTAIN CIVIL RIGHTS. Commitment of a child to the custody of the department does not disqualify the child in any future examination, appointment, or application for public service under the government of the state or of any political subdivision of the state. Transferred, redesignated and amended from Human Resources Code, Subchapter G, Chapter 61 by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 85 (S.B. 653 ), Sec. 1.006, eff. September 1, 2011.
