Sec. 853.107. VOID PRIOR SERVICE CERTIFICATE.

(a)When a person's membership in the retirement system is terminated, any prior service certificate issued to the person becomes void.
(b)A person whose membership has terminated and who subsequently resumes membership in the retirement system is not entitled to credit for prior service. SUBCHAPTER C. ESTABLISHMENT OF CURRENT SERVICE
