Sec. 660.029. KNOWLEDGE OF TRAVEL PROCEDURES.
(a)A state agency shall instruct its state employees about this chapter, the travel provisions of the General Appropriations Act, and the rules adopted by the comptroller under this chapter.
(b)A state agency's failure or inability to instruct a state employee as required by Subsection (a) does not excuse or justify the employee's failure to comply with applicable laws or rules.
