Sec. 659.133. VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION.

(a)Participation by a state employee in a state employee charitable campaign is voluntary. The state campaign manager, any local employee committee or local campaign manager appointed by the state policy committee, each charitable organization, each state employee, and each state agency shall inform state employees that deductions are voluntary.
(b)The comptroller shall adopt rules establishing a process for hearing employee complaints regarding coercive activity in a state employee charitable campaign.
