Sec. 659.013. STATUTORY SALARIES SUSPENDED.
(a)Except as provided by this section, a law setting the salary of a state officer or employee is suspended to the extent that the law conflicts with this subchapter.
(b)The suspension does not apply to:
(1)a law specifying or regulating the salary or compensation of an officer or employee for whom the biennial appropriations act does not specify or regulate the salary or compensation; and
(2)Chapter 654 .
