Sec. 526.0256. PENALTY PAID OR HEARING REQUESTED. Not later than the 20th day after the date the attorney general sends the notice under Section 526.0255 , the hospital receiving the notice must submit a written request for a hearing or remit the amount of the administrative penalty to the attorney general. Failure to timely request a hearing or remit the amount of the administrative penalty results in a waiver of the right to a hearing under this section.
