Sec. 526.0158. INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS.

(a)Except as otherwise provided by the terms of a waiver authorized by Section 526.0152 and subject to Subsection (c), money in the fund may be used for purposes related to developing and implementing initiatives to improve the infrastructure of local provider networks that provide services to Medicaid recipients and individuals with low income and without health benefits coverage in this state.
(b)The infrastructure improvements may include developing and implementing a system for maintaining medical records in an electronic format.
(c)Not more than 10 percent of the total amount of the money in the fund used in a state fiscal year for purposes other than providing reimbursements to hospitals for uncompensated health care may be used for infr
