Sec. 526.0102. OPERATIONAL PLAN TO COORDINATE MAJOR QUALITY INITIATIVES.
(a)The commission shall develop and implement a comprehensive, coordinated operational plan to ensure a consistent approach across the major quality initiatives of the health and human services system for improving the quality of health care. The plan must include broad goals for improving the quality of health care in this state, including health care services provided through Medicaid.
(b)The plan may evaluate:
(1)the Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) program under the waiver;
(2)enhancing funding to disproportionate share hospitals in this state;
(3)Section 1332 of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (42 U.S.C. Section 18052);
(4)enhancing uncompensated care pool payments to hospital
