Sec. 475.0058. REPAYMENT AGREEMENT REQUIRED.

(a)Before executing a games support contract, the office must execute an agreement with the local organizing committee, endorsing municipality, or endorsing county requiring the committee, municipality, or county to repay this state any money spent by the office under this subtitle if a site selection organization selects a site for the games in this state in accordance with an application by the committee, municipality, or county.
(b)The local organizing committee, endorsing municipality, or endorsing county will make a repayment under Subsection (a) from any surplus of the committee's, municipality's, or county's money remaining after:
(1)presentation of the games; and
(2)payment of the expenses and obligations incurred by the committee, m
