Sec. 421.042. PRIVATE SECTOR ADVISORY COUNCIL.

(a)The Private Sector Advisory Council is a permanent special advisory committee created to advise the governor or the governor's designee on homeland security issues relevant to the private sector.
(b)The council is composed of:
(1)one representative of a private organization or entity for each of the following sectors of the state, each appointed by the governor or the governor's designee:
(A)agriculture and food;
(B)banking and finance;
(C)chemicals and hazardous materials;
(D)the defense industry;
(E)energy;
(F)emergency services;
(G)information technology;
(H)telecommunications;
(I)postal and shipping;
(J)public health;
(K)transportation;
(L)ports and waterways; and
(M)national monuments and icons; and
(2)other members, a
