Sec. 2165.212. VENDING FACILITIES; TEXAS COMMISSION FOR THE BLIND.

(a)The commission shall request the Texas Commission for the Blind to determine under Section 94.003, Human Resources Code, whether it is feasible to install a vending facility in a building in which the commission intends to lease space to a private tenant, other than a child care provider. If the installation of the facility is feasible, the commission shall permit the installation in accordance with Chapter 94, Human Resources Code.
(b)If a vending facility is installed, the commission may not lease space in the building to a tenant that the commission, after consultation with the Texas Commission for the Blind, determines would be in direct competition with the vending facility.
