Sec. 2063.406. CYBERSECURITY COUNCIL.

(a)The chief or the chief's designee shall lead a cybersecurity council that includes public and private sector leaders and cybersecurity practitioners to collaborate on matters of cybersecurity concerning this state.
(b)The cybersecurity council must include:
(1)one member who is an employee of the office of the governor;
(2)one member of the senate appointed by the lieutenant governor;
(3)one member of the house of representatives appointed by the speaker of the house of representatives;
(4)the director of the Elections Division of the Office of the Secretary of State;
(5)one member who is an employee of the department; and
(6)additional members appointed by the chief, including representatives of institutions of higher education and private
