Art. 2688h. COUNTIES OF 190,000 TO 205,000; COUNTY SUPERINTENDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES; ABOLITION OF OFFICES; TRANSFER OF DUTIES; ASSISTANTS TO COUNTY JUDGE.

(a)Repealed by Acts 1981, ch. 237, p. 599, ch. 237, Sec. 145, eff. Sept. 1, 1981.
(b)From and after May 1, 1962, the office of the county board of school trustees and the office of county superintendent shall cease to exist in any county in this State having a population of not less than 315,000 and not more than 351,000 which has no common school district and whose county ad valorem evaluation is in excess of Two Hundred Fifty Million Dollars ($250,000,000); provided, however, that the county superintendents in such counties who have been heretofore elected or appointed to the office of county superintendent shall serve until the
