The sergeant at arms, or such other officer as may be appointed, shall be allowed the following fees:
(1)For every arrest under process from the senate .................... $2.00 (2) For each mile the sergeant or other appointed officer may travel in going to and returning from such arrest .................... $0.05 (3) For executing each subpoena .................... $0.50 (4) For each day the sergeant or other appointed officer may attend the senate on any such trial .................... $2.00
